About Nina

I started in the produce world over 12 years ago with the primary goal of supporting small farmers and the incredibly hard work that they do. I have done this through the sales and marketing of their products, building strong buying relationships that value how much the grower actually needs to be paid for each case and by offering technical and organizational support.

I have focused on telling their personal story and offering transparency in a system that is typically anonymous. I feel strongly that by creating thriving small, local farms we can build a resilient regional food system.

In my free time I love spending time with my family, hiking, horse back riding and cooking.

Favorite food: The humble carrot from a local farm. It must be a variety that requires harvesting by hand as they are sweeter and less fibrous.
